“As a life-long artist I continue to explore and discover my personal visual expression. Working in my studio, I paint abstract narrative landscapes that suggest a time from the past, of generations that have come before. Using texturing mediums, acrylic and oil on canvas or paper offers the freedom to maintain a balance between abstraction and realism. This mixed media process allows for a spontaneous yet subtle use of geometric and organic form within a delicate pattern of light and dark. Underlying themes suggest a historical presence beneath the surface of the land; a story waiting to be uncovered.”
